Reinterpreted Hanok social space design
2020.08-2020.12

'Hahoeru' is a complex cultural space design project for young individuals, reinterpreting the traditional Korean hanok. The project redesigned three main features of hanoks—Openness, Natural Light, and De-artistry—in a contemporary context, to folding doors, stained glass, and minimalism. The use of 'Deureoyeolgae doors' allows the space to transform from a cafe into versatile settings like lecture halls or flea markets. and using transformer furniture, created a diversity and dynamic space.
